This is Ganon's second best stage, probably his best in some matchups. The backwards fullhop NIL is huge, as well as the runoff dj NIL's you mentioned. I've never seen anyone do backwards fullhop NIL to instant dash shai drop uair (or pivot shield drop bair), something I practice a bit. The ceiling is almost exactly the same as FoD, so it's good vs characters that kill you off the top. There's the pseudo dash too. You can also edge cancel by dropping from outermost edge of the lower plat, doing an aerial and holding out. Or you can side-b off the top platform holding backwards and edge cancel off the innermost side of the lower plat. You can wL bair/uair off the lower plat offstage then dj wL off the stage and bair/uair offstage again AND dj uair/bair again and make it back. There's lots of little things. Great for grab punishes/uthrow traps too

Nice post.

I was looking at haxdashing frame by frame in 20XX for Ganon on the different stages. Most stages have a 2-frame window for inputting the airdodge to generate the reverse ledge dash: input one frame too late and you've landed, one frame too early and you air dodge off the stage to your death.

Battlefield is the one exception. The frame window for haxdashing on Battlefield is larger, depending on which direction you airdodge. If you airdodge horizontally, there is a 3 frame window. If you airdodge diagonally downward, there is a 4 frame window.

Moral of the story: the timing for RLD is easier on Battlefield than anywhere else.

What's shai?

You want to think of it as a buffered shield drop. It doesn't necessarily need to be out of a dash, as you will see in the linked thread. However the most common uses of it come from a dash.

It's the fastest practical way to drop through a platform. When you perform a regular shield drop, it's very hard to drop out of the first frame of shield like you can when you buffer it out of landing lag. But the various shai drop methods allow you to get an easier buffer.
