Ike should have a laser sword

It's bothered me since brawl that he doesn't. In Fire Emblem, Ragnell is a ranged weapon so it should be here as well. The only reason I can think of for not including this would be that when Roy was cut they decided that Ike should be his pseudo-successor, thus eruption.

But if he did, or will in future titles, would that help his meta? Or does everyone like eruption that much?

Eruption is great. Dont even main Ike and can usually catch people trying to recover

True. Eruption could be moved to down b. I don't see many Ike players using counter too often
