If you could add one newcomer to each section of the roster, who would they be?

Geno- My second most-wanted overall, he just seems like such a beast character with a rad design.

Dixie Kong- Long overdue in my opinion, likely would be a Diddy echo but I'd prefer that to nothing at all.

Skull Kid- Been my most wanted for as long as I can remember, I can't even tell you how happy I'd be if he made it.

Sylux- Although I'd say the series is good on reps now, Sylux looks cool so he could be fun.

Boshi- Zinith has opened my eyes to his greatness, that and there really isn't anything else that would work.

Marx- Yeah, Bandana Dee absolutely deserves it more, and is definitely like him, but the concept of an eldritch horror mixed with a little jester bat-thing is just too cool to pass up.

Slippy- I just want to see the world burn...

Decidueye- Even though Incineroar is practically guaranteed to take the gen 7 spot, I'll always want Deci for being my favorite Pokémon.

Porky- I've never played the series (although I really need to), but Porky seems super unique and villains are always welcome.

Black Shadow- Don't know squat about the series, but he seems cool enough.

Black Knight- I do think FE is completely good on reps for the next several installments, but if I HAD to add one it'd be this guy for having a cool design and being a villain.

Dr Eggman- This is one of my pipe dream characters. One of gaming' most iconic villains, I think if any third party series were to get a second unique character, the Dr would be first in line.

Ken- No explanation needed really, he's all but confirmed at this point.

All the others I either didn't want to go through or didn't think they were significant enough/have any surviving candidates left to choose from.

All of these choices were difficult ones, and I still might not know just yet who it is I would put in.
- It's not easy to decide between Impa and Skull Kid. I'm having a difficult time.
- Medusa. I would go with her over Viridi because she can potentially bring a new move set to the table.
- Decidueye. I think this particular Pokémon can bring something new to the table as opposed to Incineroar.

Geno - My most wanted, so that's pretty much a given for this one. He's just so different from every other possible candidate and such a big fan request. If not him, then Waluigi.

Skull Kid or Midna w/ Wolf Link - These two have a lot of potential to be unique, and Zelda desperately needs representation outside of the triforce newcomers. I mean, is it alright if I add both considering just how long Zelda has gone without a newcomer despite being one of Nintendo's largest franchises???

Sceptile - One of my favorite Pokemon of all time, and we need a fully evolved grass starter in my opinion. Plus Sceptile is just cool af.

Sylux - Apparently he's going to become a bigger thing in the next game. He's got a cool design and he's not just a standard marine. Metroid is pretty well represented after this game though.

Dixie Kong - She's one of the biggest missing pieces of the moniker Nintendo All-Stars and she could have such a good hair based move set.

Marx - I support Bandanna Dee for the many fans he has, but if I'm adding a Kirby character I'm personally interested in, Marx is the best bet for how crazy he looks and how awesome of a move set he could really have.

Lyn - Screw it, Fire Emblem is already so poorly represented, might as well add the character I want. I love Lyn like a lot of people for her being my introduction to the series. If you focused on her katana and bow properly, not giving her boring old sword moves, she'd work really well I think.

Tom Nook - He deserved a spot this game, and he's probably the most recognizable face of Animal Crossing at this point across the entire series. Put him in.

Krystal - She's much loved and fan requested. Plus she could have a really cool staff based move set, and I'm all for that. Plus, she's less of a joke character than I feel Slippy would have to be.

Mii Mage - Because if you're going to keep focused on these Mii fighters like you are, not having a proper mage class selection is just a little dumb.

Eh, just make Alph a proper Echo with Rock Pikmin, that'll do just fine.

Medusa - She'd just look cool. I'm mostly against new Kid Icarus characters at this point, but if I have to pick, she's definitely my choice.

Ashley would be a great mage with a now very popular fan base to represent Wario Ware. If we're talking Wario Land, Captain Syrup.

Kamek just to add another OG villain and clearly after Piranha Plant he's much more reasonable. Let's add a Boshi costume for good measure.

Elma - I like her design better than Rex I guess, and having dual gun blades with a lot of projectiles and maybe even incorporating a Skell would be really cool. I also just need to play more of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 before I make that decision.

Retro Rep In General: Excitebiker or Mach Rider - Just something very out there with a bike being heavily featured in a move set is something I want to see realized in Smash.

Third Party Section:

Chun-Li - Pretty much the undisputed second most recognizable character in Street Fighter and she'd just look really cool alongside him.

Zero - He's just the coolest option for another Mega Man rep and has a lot of cool moves. His assist trophy status is a little heartbreaking.

Alucard - Basically see Zero, but even more so as I love Alucard from Symphony of the Night and III.

Raiden (As a Cyborg) - None of this Raiden mirroring Snake junk, I want the crazy look Raiden from Revengeance.

Tails - He's the Luigi of the Sonic series, I just feel like he fits perfectly. Kunckles is also a very reasonable candidate for this position.

Mrs. Pac-Man - She is all you can really do, and I think she'll probably just be an Echo.

Rodin - Since Bayonetta already has Jeanne colors, I'd like to see Rodan have a unique move set with some of the weapons he forges from Inferno.

Black Mage - Not going to lie, I don't know as much as I should about Final Fantasy and I don't really like many of the characters post VII anyway, nor am I super attracted to any characters before, so I'll just go with the basic choice.

- Geno: He's my most wanted by far and I'm such a huge fan of the character I would love to see him get added
- Kamek: I think if there's going to be a new Yoshi villain it'd either be A) Kamek B) Poochy or C) Baby Mario/Baby Luigi and Kamek appeals to me out of them the most and he's Yoshi's go-to villain.
- Jimmy T: Jimmy T is my favorite WarioWare character and I would love for the groovy dude to get in with a rhythm/stance changing gimmick plus his theme is an absolute bop.
- Dixie Kong: I'm surprised it hasn't happened already tbh as Dixie was considered for Brawl yet was cut and Dixie is 100% the biggest DKC character yet to get added and would make for an incredibly easy echo fighter so bring on Dixie Kong.
- Skull Kid: Skull Kid is 100% my most wanted Zelda character as he originates from my favorite Zelda game and would make for a really unique floaty mage character
- Sylux: Yeah there's no other character it could really be other than Sylux as Metroid is far from a character driven franchise and most other options are either weird limbless aliens or bigger than Ridley.
- Bandanna Dee: He's the defacto 4th Kirby character and has a lot of support going for him (Including from my Nephew/Friend) so I totally gotta go with him
- Slippy Toad: He'd be a joke character along the lines of Pichu and I would find that incredibly funny and amusing so I would go for the toad boyo.
- Gengar: Gengar is by far my favorite Pokemon and I think his style would fit really well and distinct in Smash Bros.
- Duster/Ninten: Personally? Duster by far as he's easily my favorite Mother character and would be so fun in Smash but for what choices make sense? Ninten as he could represent the only Mother game left unrepresented and finally complete the Mother representation perfectly.
- Samurai Goroh: Goroh has always been Falcon's main rival in the games and I think him being in would be really cool.

- Dimitri/Edelgard: While my most wanted new FE Character is Dimitri, Edelgard makes a whole lot more sense and so I'll choose her as she brings a new weapon from the weapon triangle and could be really fun and cool.
