If Sakurai is even considering releasing this on the 24th of January, the game had to be gold and planned logistically weeks ago.

The only reason for the delay was to keep Nintendo from competing with itself. The team might have tweaked it a bit, but I seriously doubt that any major gameplay changes can or have been made since October.

I think we will know if another delay is possibly if Japan gets delayed. Obviosuly if Japan gets delayed, then all the other release dates will be pushed back. As of right now, I do not believe another delay is going to happen, but I suggest watching the Japanese release date closely.

remember half-life 2's delay? it was like a year, I say delay it if you have to, nothing sucks more than having a game rushed out to stores with many bugs/glitches and to see a game that didnt live up to its full potential because of this (Hellgate London is a good example). think about this, I played SSBM atleast once a week (prolly every other day more like) for the last 6 years, and i have never noticed any bugs (except black hole, but it would never happen on accident, and maybe that it doesnt show who wins on Stamina mode; afew times we didnt know who won cause they both died simultaniously) but anyways, melee had so few bugs i am really proud of nintendo for doing it and i hope brawl is atleast as bug free as melee (meaning 99.9% bug free)

I don't care if there is another delay, so long as they're actually making the game better/completing it. The ending of KOTOR2 makes me want to shoot myself every time I play it. On the other hand, Brawl only makes my days seem twice as long until release. More Time of wait > Death.

I seriously think they're just mass producing and/or getting rid of bugs and glitches right now. The Vice Prez of ninty of america said it was delayed because many good games don't come out around that time... or something like that. Anyways, basically, i tihnk it was because it could have better sales there, because people won't be going "ok, i can get 1 wii game... brawl, or galaxy?"

I say there should be another delay only if my theory of the drought is true. And that is....if and only if Sakurai is running low on what characters to put on Brawl. Right now che....the whole character roster is so incomplete.

It doesnt mean the roster doesnt exist though.

I wouldn't worry. I mean, we're going to be able to play/purchase it eventually, regardless of how long it takes for it to be released. What's waiting a little longer. We've waited this long and survived

OP, Twilight Princess was delayed for more reasons than slow work. That's not it at all. They took their time crafting an amazing game, and before they finished it, high-ups basically said "We need Wii sales; add Wii controls becasuse we're now making it for Wii". The game was originally intended as a GC game, but trust me, they wanted to delay it for Wii to get more sales. How else would you like to explain why the Wii version came before the GC?

As for delays on Brawl. I don't see it. It seems that another 2 months will be more than enough to perfect the game as they've already revealed so much. Just by looking at the small aount they've shown us the game looks close to done. And you know, even if there is a delay, that equates to EXACTLY "More".

So I won't worry.

There won't be another delay. In case anyone was wondering, Sakurai pushed back the release date so Brawl could be a nice birthday present for me. He's a nice fellow. We're pretty tight.
