No it's not. Compare these two pictures and you'll see the differences. Granted they may be small, but they're there.

Those differences are way too small. Besides, they probably made some small changes to make it look more like it belonged in brawl.

Little Mac got "brawlified" as well. I don't believe his character model has been updated since 1987's Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Although I must admit, he would be a great addition for any of the old-school Nintendo players who followed the popularity of the original NES game. Although in his main photo it looks like he has two left feet (must not be a good dancer).

if you can't already tell waluigi has a lower polygon rate than the PCs, so they obviously just used an old model they had laying around and slapped some better textures on it.

also Samus got a brand new model for brawl based off of her suit from zero mission. come on people

Waluigi is as polygonal as the rest of the Assist Trophies.

Also, Samus is sporting her Gravity Suit from Zero Mission. (With the more familiar orange coloring)

Saki looks more detailed than Waluigi.

What about Knuckle Joe? They actually gave him different facial expressions. Thats more Brawilfied to me.

I don't know... go take another look at the model. Check out the hands and the arm/leg joints. The models looks pretty simple to me.

Yeah, I agree with WastingPenguins. Waluigi seemed pretty basic of a character model. Nothing special really.

Yep, I was right. These two have more effort put in their modeling that him. Compare these two to waluigi:

He got some bad polygons there.

Actually, now I see they didn't even get Mario's texture into his overalls. I was just lazy to check, so assumed that was the case. BUT... just look at his HANDS. I doubt someone with those blocky hands with no fingers was ever considered playable.

I just want to say that Samus's look is based on Zero Mission, not Prime or anything else.
