I keep seeing a weird property with power shielding

Every once in a while there is a highlight clip somewhere where someone power shields a move and then does a grounded move right after it without playing the animation of letting down their shield. Is this a thing? If you let off your shield after a power shield happens your shield just disappears and you are now grounded again? I have never heard anyone talk about this trick.

Powershielding a physical attack allows you to cancel the shield release animation with an attack, but does not affect shieldstun or hitlag. Powershielding a projectile eliminates shieldstun and hitlag, but does not allow you to cancel the shield release animation in any way different from normal.

With every character except Yoshi. It's fortunate too(or maybe not), since Yoshi would be literally broken otherwise.

Just fight a level 9 CPU Ganon. Run at him and nair him. He will powershield -> jab eventually. Give yourself handicap 1 and him handicap 9 and change the damage ratio to 2.0 for "Impossible Ganon".
