I just realized that Dark Samus proboly won't be in

As we Know Japan hates the Metroid Prime games. More proof of this is that Samus's Varia suit is not based on Prime. So we proboly won't get any Metroid Prime refrences in Brawl and Dark Samus has originated from Prime so sadly I don't think that Dark Samus will be in. I'm NOT a Dark Samus hater. I'm just thinking chances are pretty slim.

well even if japan doesnt like the metroid series much, it doesnt make as big of a impact as you think. this game is going global, so I think nintendo will care more about how it will do world wide rather than just in japan, but, japan will still count for a bit.

Who says the model is not based on Prime? The 3 Primes have different suits, I think it's very much based on the Prime 1 suit.

no, it is most certainly based on Zero Mission:

of course they all look similar since they are all Samus, but the Brawl model is practically identical to the Zero Mission model. but really.....who cares?
