it made me feel bad so i was like "I'm gonna start using him a bit"


however i don't really have any experience with link/y.link so Idk what move to use to approach or to combo and etc. right now i just use lots of bombs.

If you're throwing a bunch of stuff you're playing him right. He's doesn't have to approach. Unless it's against characters like Fox or Falcon. everything else relies on auto combos like bomb -> dair/nair/uair or boomerang -> dair/nair/uair.

hmm... allright. That sounds like a much simpler way of playing than I thought it would be... I guess I'll just use him a bit more and stuff.
