actually 99% of it is that I got a new computer and can't find the install CD for my recording software/drivers for my capture card

i'm gonna be free for the next 3 months; maybe i'll buy another capture card

you can't just like download the drivers from the website?

I can agree that Ricky has claimed the #1 spot for TMCs (On emulator with KEYBOARD), for the reason you mentioned earlier: Highest quality and quantity of combos.

But LEVELS above Prince or Isai or even Alan.... I can't agree with that.

why does everyone like yoshi tmc's? I really like in game yoshi/ness combo's, but in tm i dunno they just don't seem as cool as other characters. Also, kirby combo's always suck.

Edit: except for the kirby combo in this vid, which was aite. My least favorite combo in the vid tho! Still way cooler than any combo I've ever done

My preference when checking out TMCs:

SS Tier
Falcon (so many possibilities keeps these from getting stale)

S Tier
Link (difficult char to master, but lots of options)

A Tier
Samus (only because I'm amazed people (Ricky) can actually somewhat combo with her)
DK (but only if it's something beyond Uair xn)

B Tier
Fox (the more shines, the better!)
Jigglypuff (teleports and pounds are nice)
Ness (DJCs are best)

C Tier
Luigi (always satisfying with the finishes)

D Tier
Yoshi (some cool recent stuff with Dairs (Ricky), but most combos seem stale and boring to me)
Mario (slow, boring, unsatisfying finishers
Kirby (i die a little inside every time i see a Utilt)
Pikachu (my least favorite character to watch in-game and in TM)

Falcon has been and always will remain my favorite. In the right hands, there is so much variety and has the potential to be something never done before with each and every combo.

^^Yea, I agree (about Mario) also. This is both why Luigi > Mario and also why MK is sooo good. You can make the most advanced intricate combos there, and it helps those char that are more limited in diversity (even not using the parana plant). We don't get anything out of making a bazillion Dair/weak Uair Mario combos either.

My list was personal preference! I also shoulda mentioned that I prefer combos that have minimal wall-bounces (preferably none) and that I despise Mushroom Kingdom unless there's a ****ton of cool **** happening (it's gotta be really cool).

I guess in this respect, Falcon has more options because of his speed.

The slower characters with poor or minimal combo moves can't really do much on flat ground.

I guess Yoshi and Ness combos are cool in theory, but I feel like I've seen it all. Maybe I'm just cranky and jaded.

Maybe all of you are just BORING and not CREATIVE.

Maybe I'm BORING.

I suppose every character is horribly boring if it's just BnB all day.
