How will the Young Link amiibo function in BOTW?

My best guess is that is will function exactly as the Majora's Mask amiibo. Possible OOT since that's where he originates from. Or it will be different and give you the Kokiri Sword and Shield.

With Breath of the Wild all done with its extra contents, I really don't see a future Young Link amiibo being compatible with that game, unless a software update gets released to support it.

Tunic of the Hero
Trousers of the Hero
Sword

Or

Cap of Time
Tunic of Time
Trousers of Time
Biggoron's Sword

Heck, it might just give you Fierce Deity stuff.

Well my Smash Link functions identically to the Twilight Princess Link. My guess is Yink will function as MMink.

Well, Fates was incompatible with Roy's Amiibo(and I believe even Corrin him/herself) so there's a solid chance the game just won't recognise it as the Amiibo was made long after the game had been finished.

Fairly certain the Smash Y.Link amiibo will have the same data as the previous Y.Link amiibo. To my knowledge, Smash Rosalina and base Rosalina shared the same amiibo data.

I doubt they will update the game this far out for one amiibo though I'm torn as to which it will duplicate mm would make most sense probably.
