The Big House 7, scheduled for October 6-8, is the largest Smash event in the Midwest as well as a go-to annual event for Smash fans worldwide. Hosted at the Cobo Center in Detroit - the largest convention center in Michigan and double the size of last year’s venue - the event will feature singles and doubles for both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Brackets are expected to begin around 10 AM (EST) on Friday, October 6th. While registration for competitors is now closed, spectator registration will continue online only until event weekend.

Expect to see some intense top level play from the best in the world, hailing from as far away as Sweden, Mexico, the Netherlands, and Japan. Big names for Melee attending include Juan "Hungrybox" DeBiedma, Adam “Armada” Lindgren, Joseph “Mang0” Marquez, Jeffrey “Axe” Williamson and Jason “Mew2King” Zimmerman. For Smash Wii U, plenty of PGR-ranked players are in attendance, including Ramin "Mr.R" Delshad, Larry “Larry Lurr” Holland, Yuta "Abadango" Kawamura, Leonardo “MKLeo” Lopez Perez and Nairoby “Nairo” Quezada.

To see the action, tune in to the streams hosted by VGBootCamp, EvenMatchupGaming, and UnrivaledTournaments. For the full schedules of events, streaming and commentary check out the Big House’s website.
