1) Introduction

When I saw My Smash Corner's video on the best ways to kill Luma, I was quite disapointed by Ness' poor options. However, after some time in the lab, I found interesting stuff. Here it is.


2) Moves that send Luma flying at full HP

These ones send it straight up : - Dash Attack (first and third hit)
- Up Tilt (sweetspot only)
- Up Smash (sweetspot and sourspot)
- PK Thunder 1 (head)

PK Thunder can just get GP'd by Rosa. At a certain angle, PKF might be a better option. Specifically JPKF, which helps Ness not be in a bad situation. U-tilt is good. I don't see many people use it. Bair and nair might be helpful against Luma as well. At least if you're spacing properly, otherwise you're going to get grabbed. A word of advice. If Rosa has herself somewhat away from Luma and she grabs you, she's probably going for a grab release into up smash to confirm a kill on you. Be sure to look out for that.
