Captain Phobos
Smash Apprentice
Right when a match starts, charge your neutral! It's probably Samus's best KO move. It works best to fire it up close and personal so your opponent doesn't have much time to react. Long range attacks are best left to missiles.
If I'm in a long range situation with an opponent with high percentage, I fire a missile then a second later, fire a charge shot. They'll be slowed for a minute to avoid the missile, so the charge shot has a better chance of hitting them.
Dash grab is a lot better than a standing grab, since it's harder to read, and Samus's throws are good combo starters.
Downthrow to up B works surprisingly well with not only Samus, but ZSS as well.
Samus's vertical recovery is very poor, so always try to recover horizontally using mines and her grab.
When returning to the stage from above, use mines to keep your opponent away from your landing zone, and push yourself back up if needed.
