How to get Cliffhanger bonus?

I'm trying, for the first time, to get every trophy, and I'm stuck on one of the bonuses required to get Diskun:

Cliffhanger(2000)
- Grabbed a lot of edges after being knocked off the stage.

What does that mean? I've tried jumping off and back on the same edge after getting hit without getting back on the stage, I've tried only recovering with Link's tether after getting knocked off (and doing so at least four times in a match without recovering in any other way), and no matter what I do, it just won't give me the bonus. What am I doing wrong?

Okay yeah, I was hilariously wrong, lol

Just looked it up and apparently you have to grab the ledge every time you recover in a single game
