This shows how to replace textures in Melee. It is super easy and is the first thing you should do if you are interested in Melee modding.
First, Open DAT Texture Wizard. (no download here) Find a random texture you want to edit and export it. If there are different versions of the texture, export those.
Put the image into a random image editor. You pick. Make some edits.
Take the edited images and replace the original ones in Dat Texture Wizard. Then go to File > Save and open the iso (DAT Texture Wizard might rebuild the iso depending on what and how many things you replace) and the texture should be replaced!
