How to deal with Jokers Reflector?

How do you deal with jokers reflector? It seems like he gets to land for free when he turns on his reflector because you cant hit him at all with physical or projectiles attacks, unlike a fox reflector for example. I dont understand what to do against his reflector when he's using it in the air, do I just wait for him to land?

When Joker does his reflector after the move ends he is vulnerable so delay your attacks.
