How to avoid being hit by Luma during a cargo throw?

Pretty much the title. Every time I play a good Rosalina player I can never get a cargo throw off because in the time it takes me to grab Rosalina and get her in cargo throw position, Luma hits me out of the grab.

Any tips for this? Is there anything I can do to get the cargo up throw off before luma hits?

You can try to use the invincibility frames DK has while doing his cargo animation, though it's pretty hard to time and not that reliable but it does help. Also Esam talked about grabbing then waiting half a second so Luma moves back and can't hit you. He explains it better than I can so, here: https://youtu.be/OcbEF190xZE?t=333
