How to approach a bair-spacing Palutena

I know this is a rarer match up but I'm having so much trouble against Palu in the neutral. She can:

1. space invincible bairs that beat diddy fairs
2. mix it up with invincible dash attacks or grabs
3. jab to grab confirm

How can I approach this match up to make it seem diddy favored?

Play defensive, her Shield game is quite lackluster. With a banana in hand and shielding her attacks will lead you to some decent % with Diddy's B&B.
