How many things can they add to the game?

Will this make the whole info structure of smash as we know it and love it fall apart in a crap storm of confusion, or will it only enforce a great game and make it better than ever?

In my opinion, which i know doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, I hope they ad more trophies, stages, characters (srry for talking about characters in this forum), and items.

In the process of adding things i hope they don't overlook making things that already exist better, such as glitches that are constantly talked about.

There was a rumor about Brawl being double-layered but no, I don't have proof. That's the theoretical max though.

They can keep adding things to the game as long as they are original, fun and guaranteed to be long-tenured. I'm actually looking forward to these new extra modes, because they add the element of fun back into playing Smash and not just mastering characters in a 1v1 or free-for-all match.

Ya, but were do you draw the line? what if there is so much stuff that it is just frustrating?
How can that happen. We want to be playing this game until the next one comes out. So "too much" content would be when it is impossible to finish before the next games release.

Well Super Smash Brothers Tussle, does come out in late 2017
haha. nice title.

i hope there's too much content to fit on one cd. that would be insane. and slightly annoying whenever you changed discs.

True. But wouldn't that suck to have to flip it?

Anyway, they're probably going to max the CD out, either way.
Dual-layered does not mean it would be recorded on both sides of the disc, it is a way of recording information on the same side in a dual-layered fashion. Hypothetically you could have a single DVD that is dual-layered on both sides for a maximum capacity around 17.4 GB.

I don't really care how much stuff there is as long as not all of it is necessary. We shouldn't be forced to get random, seemingly useless items to continue with the game.

In a fighting game, too much content only accures when so much is so remotely similar and the tasks to gaining this and that becomes tedious.

A good example are the Mortal Kombat remake (Can't remember the exact one I'm thinking of now) that stuffed so many character that were so similar into one game that the motvation for this contect becomes less.
