How good, really, is ganon?

The current PM 3.6 tier list ranks ganon at #35 but i dont think this is the case at all. When you examine this character closeley you start to notice the crazy m2-esque autocancel windows, and also he no longer struggles against projectiles because of the cape... his recovery has also been buffed, he's got a very cool dtaunt, and flame choke can snap to ledge. Is ganon top 20? If not where is he?

Mid tier at best. He's slow and large, which are two damning attributes in a game built around mobility. His strengths, namely range and power, aren't as important since speed is almost as good as range in most cases and pretty much every top tier can close out stocks nearly as well as he can.

Cape isn't an autowin against projectiles, it helps, but losing the big duration of Nair's hotboxes hurt way more.

His recovery is better, but if you're forced low at all, any character with a good bait can ledge grab-drop-bair and just instagimp you.

He has strengths and he has tricks, but they're offset by his weaknesses. And his poor mobility is a HUGE weakness.
