How do you port animations from Melee to Brawl?

My question is already in the thread title.

I know it's possible, seeing how many mods feature animations seemingly ripped from Melee, but when I looked up how, I couldn't really find anything. I found plenty for porting Smash 4 animations in Brawl, but nothing for Melee animations.
