How do you feel about a chat bar?

Alot of forums have them and it might be a good way to get alittle more activity on the site. Just a suggestion...

Chat bars are hideous and annoying. This site doesn't really need something like that to boost activity, just wait for Smash 4 to drop.

We actually had a full chat for a while, but it wasn't embedded in the front page. It died pretty quickly though.

anyone remember the AOL chatroom roleplaying games? Red Dragon Inn was my preferred room, I was an emotionally mysterious and tortured Saiyan.

there was also a Lake Hylia room, and a forest room and a Harry Potter room.

I just realized i'm talking about things from like 1997

yea, well those were awesome.
