Recently I've been having trouble with Ganandorfs online. Is there any tips to beating them?

Ganondorf is strong, but slow and predictable. Because of that he struggles against Light-Weight characters such as Bayonetta, Pikachu/Pichu and Greninja.

that's not good advice for beating him that's just saying he's a heavyweight so combo him

Try not to shield too much vs them, as they do heavy shield damage. Try dodging more, and if you can get around their super laggy attacks then you can just combo them into oblivion.

Ganon’s slow, so play defensively from a safe distance and you’ll be able to catch him rather easily when he whiffs a move. You do this by dancing about around his Wizard’s Foot apex range to keep him pressured. Be careful with his faster aerials; look carefully for a hole in his pattern or any habits he might be developing. When you see him charge Warlock Punch or up-Tilt, grab. When recovering, keep in mind he has a grab up-B, so it would be best to air dodge at the right moment. I can’t say whether or not regular attacks might be able to work against it.

It really helps to learn his burst range. Know when you're in the range for a sudden flame choke, wizard kick or dash attack and try not to let him catch you off guard. If you manage to do that it's easy to outmaneuver him. If you're in range try to jump or sometimes roll away, but also make sure you go for openings when you see them since you don't want to give him stage control.

you can tech his side b when he drops you. it can be tricky to do online but practice tech-rolling it a bit so he doesnt just get free f tilts on every flame choke.

he's a big target and most of his aerials have some wind up to them. keep up pressure on aerial strings (just general tip, may not be relevant depending on your character)

his recovery is very vulnerable. don't be afraid of pressuring him over the edge, just don't let him get above you for that spike

Try not to get caught in his command grab and if you do make sure you tech roll it. The problem with that is if you roll behind him he can down smash and if you stay in front he can ftilt. Just try and avoid the command grab all together and you should be good
