I recently bought some amiibos (finally), because I needed ZSS. At the same time, there were more Dark Pit amiibos taking up shelf space as far as the eye can see a week after their release here (beginning of July).

I could've legitimately bought 20 each of Dark Pit (probably like 50 of them), Ganondorf, Palutena and ZSS and made bank.
Maybe.
But fancy being that seedy ****** going through the checkouts spending $1000 on plastic and then trying to hustle people for profit.
It wouldn't work here in Aus, people on average aren't crazy enough.

I already felt dirty spending $50 odd for 2 ZSS, Falcon and Marth.

Well, then it shouldn't be a "problem" if someone respond to degenerate gameplay with degenerate gameplay. I'm sure Armada is very capable of playing like that 24/7 if he wanted, but he chooses not too and only does it as a response. Same thing with Larry, he could run away all day if he wants to but chose only to do it as a response.

Again, the point being is don't start **** if you're not ready to deal with it when someone does it better.

It's up to the players how they conduct themselves and how crappy the meta becomes.
