Sorry but I don't get excited for a "free" 10$ off. BOGOF is nice or something like a 40% off deal is nice though.

Well, next time you save money on something at a grocery store like Kroger, be sure to give the money you saved back to the store.

Because **** the 25 cents you just saved, it's not like it adds up or something when you shop for groceries all the time.

The deal RT brought up is waaaaaaaaaay smarter than your typical BOGO sale because you aren't locked into buying something NOW at a bad price to get something free. You might just be able to use that 60$ on another sweet deal later.

Lets say I planned to buy a Deluxe Wii U. Assuming there is some workaround to get that deal multiple times, I can buy 300 in gift cards, get 60$ and just like that I got a deluxe for the price of a regular.

Assuming its not one of those tricky promotion "use by" gift cards that force you to shop next week or something.

I never use coupons or stuff like that for groceries. That's for cheapskates and old people.

*grocery stores gives you a coupon for $10 off next purchase*

*you throw it away*

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh, if you hate saving money that much, send me your bank account information and I can help solve that problem.

Tesh, gift cards from stores usually don't expire. Only credit gift cards do, because of the fees and such.

Giving you my bank account info has literally nothing to do with a 10$ coupon from HEB. Not only is the example not the same, the concept isn't either.

Like I said, coupons used at grocery stores are for old people or cheapskates that don't wanna pay full price for a load of bread. Clearly, RT is both of those.

It's sex+pee. Not just sex and not just pee. They must be combined in order to make the statement true.

Some of these "gift cards" or "award cards" or "comeback cash" deals are scams to get you to return and shop during sales (or lack of sales) that are sub optimal. I know Sears does this alot with special gift cards that must be used the following week (but not on the weekend), or by giving you a store credit that expires after a week (instead of the normal 1 yr).

I'm cool with the honest stuff like extra bucks and TRUE gift card bonuses that say "these savings are yours as long as you spend them here". Its still a good deal if you intended to buy things there anyway.

The sticker on the back gets me.

Tesh, it's a normal gift card. If you're going to get Monster Hunter and have the money all saved up for a Wii U, then get on this deal.

Both versions of MH3U out March 2013 supposedly.

Japan gets MH4 during same month.

March is Monster Hunter month.

Buy for others, $10 for self.
Buy for self, lose
(50*0.0825=4.125)
$4.13 of the $60 in tax.
Turning $50s into $55s

Yeah, you pay no tax when purchasing a gift card. Instead, you pay tax on any purchases made with the gift card. You can't be taxed twice for the same purchase.
