hitbox/hurtbox question

So i was testing m2s hutboxes and i noticed that his tail doesn't have on in his neutral stance. Does his tail become a hurt box when he uses it in an attack like bair or uair or is his tail like marths sword , disjointed?

Half of it is disjointed.

I believe his tail can be hit in those situations, perhaps not all of it though.
