the samus cruel brawl uses an immobilization glitch iirc.

I think that most of them are not tas but they do exploit glitches in the game

This topic is old, but this is how you get alot of KOs in cruel melee with samus (note that you can do it faster in NTSC with extender which lets you grab the wireframes on the top platform. I made this strategy for PAL which is sadly alot slower so I just dropped it when I reached 10K)

Sorry about video quality and stuff, this was my first youtube video (from 2006 as you can see) and my capture card back then was really bad.

With this strategy cruel melee actually becomes easier to get a huge score on than endless melee because cruel melee does not have items (I believe this is supposed to be a handicap LOL) and thus no random explosions and wireframes going for pokeballs.

Edit: I like that everyone is calling it cruel brawl btw. lol.

Well, I think it's safe to say that AiB is gone for good, or gone enough that it's no longer worth using. I don't suppose anyone would protest if I recreated the Melee wr list and 1pTT here?

Also I have a 23GB archive of the entire site dated March 6 2012. I might consider uploading it somewhere if anyone wants it really bad. Someone (ncb1221 I think?) also made an archive of the Melee section that's more recent although I can't seem to find my copy off hand.

However, I've already run into a problem. I cannot tie the record. I have tried multiple different timings and I still can't get it.
