I'm kind of a lurker here too. I'm not really great at this game, don't really want to be, and I used to play casually with friends and family. Now all of them have lost interest in the game so I hardly ever play anymore.

Ah man, sorry to hear that. I wouldn't be part of this community if it weren't for my family and freinds, so i cant imagine how it would feel to lose that.

Oh man, I know that feel. Used to play Melee a whole lot with my friends, but they all quit playing smash except for one who I played Brawl with at the time. And I moved to another city since then. But when we happen to meet up we still bring our DSs to smash some (my DS can go online with every game except smash for some reason).

But a while after moving I found some place where people come together to play Melee, I still get my @ss handed to me by most of the people there, but its always a good time playing.

So I certainly reccomend finding a local scene.

The problem with my local area is all the big scenes are 40 or more minutes away. I guess online matches will have to do. I haven't checked my friends list for a bit, but feel free to add me up.
