Help with getting Melee netplay safe?

Hi guys i recently looked at the netplay for melee and i couldnt beileve it, so i tried to get it working but i just ended up getting abunch of malware on my computer i was wondering if someone could show me or help me with a safe, way to get this working btw just to know if its not a waste of time to even try heres my computer specs.

Windows Version: Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit


Processor: AMD A6-5350M APU with Radeon(tm) HD
Graphics

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 8450G


Total RAM: 7.2 GB

i followed that but like the links they gave me got some malware on my comp I just want the clean files themselves

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the links that OP posted in the thread do not give you malware. All my friends and I have used those links and have not run into any problems. Just google the version of dolphin you are looking for, and same with the ROM.

Ok well i think it was coolrom, i finally realized that the dolph 3.5 netplay isn't a file to put in the folder it has everything in it. Well i guess now i just need the rom zip of melee without going through bs.
*edit* found one so i think now im going to try to make it work
