Self damage is probably the hardest thing to find right now. The Roy project, the Pichu project, Brawl-, and many PSAs to come could put this to full use. When this was in the other PSA threads, the topic just died out. I will be sure not to let that happen. In order for the Pichu project to be Pichu at all, I will need to find the offset for self damage. So please, anyone with a Gecko, help us out, anyone who knows their way around PSA, help us out, we could really use it.

Best bet is probably to look at Ike's neutral B.
I'd assumed that this has already been done and hasn't really led anywhere.

Ike isn't the only one who hurts himself btw. Kirby, Dedede, Game and Watch, and Wario do too.

I has idea!
spawn a sticky-bomb, make it invisible, throw it upward with like 0 or 0.0000001 velocity, superarmor. in 5 seconds there should be an explosion from the invisible goobomb, and ull take the % with no flinch or any other kind of effect.

That would work, if you wanted it to do damage in a multiple of however much damage it does, and if the attack was long enough to wait for the gooey bomb to explode. :v

actually you can have an bit variable for the throwing of the goo bomb. if bit is set, superarmor. put that on like everysubaction...ok not so realisic.
besides it would blow up ajacent enemies too.

i think the only person it can work for is roy

Again, the attack would need a hitbox if it was in the air, and the bobomb would hurt you too much, and the explosion would also hurt foes.

...What about a flower? Would it be possible to change it so that the flower does damage at a quicker rate but falls off like a second afterwards or something?

Someone should look into G&W's Judgment and Diddy's "jammed" firing thing.

what i meant was an explosion that'd hurt everyone...not necessarily from a bob-omb
idk w/e i remember untouch or somebody tried doing this before

There's no way to make them invisible, put them on yourself, or tell them when to get off. >_>

Game and Watch uses a variable which can be changed but not applied to other moves.

That's an IC variable, which causes a BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP if you edit it in any way.

if some1 can figure out how to make it invisble, thats not a bad idea.
superarmor, generate lipstick, make invis, throw at like no velocity (it hits you but ur superarmored so ull get a flower with no flinch), grab item, consume item.
all that superfast would be good. and it would be very handy because you can do it multipal times and so you can rate the pain in multipals of flowerhits.

however, ud still have that stupid looking flower sticking out of ur head and take damage gradually. that would pose an even bigger problem when you stack damage cuz the flower will just get bigger.

hmmm...

I know how to make items invisible.
EDIT: 1F090100 is what you need to type in in the event thing it get it, and set Parameter 0 to Boolean False

Well, you could always give yourself Super Armor, and throw an invisible bomb at the ground.

Actually, I could probably think of 13289032489 ways that wouldn't work.

Have you tried 14070A00 yet? It's in the "Other" section of Ike's Neutral B, so it may have been overlooked. For what you have to fill in for the parameters you'll have to look at Ike's .pac, there's a lot of parameters >.<

...We now know that self-damage is caused by floating points. However, we do not know if this floating point (which would be all zeros) exists in all attacks.
