Cloud main here, and the matchup i have struggled most against is Capt Falcon. Anyone have any advice on how to play the matchup better? Open to any suggestions :D

It's alright, but the mods will probably move it soon. It's better off there, anyway, since you're more likely to receive better advice from Cloud mains.
Alternatively, you could join the Cloud Discord server if you have a Discord account.

A few things from my limited experience against Falcon, but decent knowledge of playing as Falcon:

1. Falcon doesn't have great options for getting down; use this to your advantage in order to juggle with Uair and airdodge reads. On the flip side, Falcon also has juggle potential, but your Dair helps mitigate it, as can Nair. Airdodge minimally if at all.

2. Charge limit and run away when he approaches. This is pretty standard Cloud stuff, but it works pretty well against Falcon, partly because a good Falcon will be aggressive and approach you when you charge limit as this can play into a secondary plan of forcing him to approach and counterplaying his approach options (which are fairly limited, but powerful if he can hit them). When you get limit, don't waste it on getting damage, but use your now improved speed and power to either get the kill or recover using limit in a sticky situation.

3. Don't get grabbed, abuse Nair and Dair to stay airborne and ground dodges rather than shielding since his dashgrab is difficult to impossible to react to.

4. Try your damndest to stay on the stage. Falcon has the tools to effectively edgeguard Cloud, so DI everything in order to stay on stage (even if that means taking more damage). On the flip side, his limited recovery options can be punished by Nair or offstage limit-break attacks. If you are forced offstage, as will eventually happen, mixing up recovery is essential so you don't get spiked as often.
