Help! I can't clear classic mode very hard one stock

It does'nt matter if I use link, ganondorf, Dr.mario, Yoshi, or Roy, I always lose at the team battle at best, and at worst,in stage 2. Any tips?
obs: I can do classic mode very hard, just not only with one stock;which characters do you recommend for this?
update: somehow the CPU in the multi-man bettle uped their antics: I can kill only one Donkey Kong, I can't kill even one jigglypuff anymore, Luigi & Cap.falcon are too hard, and It's a long time since I've gotten team Mr.game & Watch.

I don't blame you if you don't achieve everything. You might feel like a better person by not trying too hard. I've set World Records myself and barely did it. The best I've done is beat a very hard mode in solo as Marth without continue. It took me four stocks and is my highest score. Many people still can't do that. Good luck and have fun.
