Hi everyone! After lurking for a couple weeks I finally decided to make an account and start posting.
I've been playing Smash casually since I was 5 (I'm almost 19 now!), but really didn't look into competitive Smash until I was around 16. In Melee, I played Fox as a kid just because my older cousin told me over and over that he was the coolest character in the game. I've only been playing Sm4sh for three months now, but I've fallen in love with how the game runs. I picked up Roy and Pikachu. I have a lot of fun with the pressuring playstyles they bring to the table, and I'm also trying to learn Corrin and ZSS as well!
I've only attended one Melee tournament a couple years back around LA (SoCal native) with a friend, but I'm looking to start competing in Sm4sh this March! I have been to quite a few Pokemon Black/White tournaments, however, and I'd like to say that I've been a competitive Pokemon player for quite some time. School's gotten busy so I don't have the time for Pokemon, but Smash is still super fun after all these years and I really think I've been improving my technical skills since getting a Wii U.
Other than Smash and Pokemon, I love playing Splatoon with my girlfriend and we're both really contemplating livestreaming that eventually. For now, I'm a part time student and part time IT specialist at my uni who spends way too many hours watching tournament matches and, more recently, browsing Smashboards. I'm really looking forward to becoming a part of this community and getting to know you all!
