*Scrooging is defined as traveling under the stage from one ledge to the other. The player may only do this once unless they land on the stage or percents change. Landing on a platform does not count as landing on the stage.

SET FORMAT
Game 1:
1. Players select their characters (players may elect to have a double-blind character selection)
2. Stage-striking order and controller ports are determined by Rock-Paper-Scissors
3. The loser of RPS strikes a stage from the starter list, followed by the RPS winner.

Game 2 (and so on):
1. Loser may select controller port
2. Winner may ban a stage, which cannot be played in the set
3. Loser selects a stage
4. Winner chooses character
5. Loser chooses character
6. Repeat steps 1-5 until the set is decided

STAGES

Counterpick:

TIMEOUTS
In the event that a match goes to time, the victor will be decided by the following steps, in order:
1. Number of ledgegrabs (if one player exceeds 40 ledgegrabs, that player will be declared the loser)
2. Number of remaining stocks
3. Amount of damage percent
4. If stocks and damage percent identical, the match will be replayed on the same stage, with each player at one stock.

The TO reserves the right to remove any player from the venue for any reason.

Venue fee will be free for anyone who brings at least 1 friend to the tourney!

Any OOR going? I can look into some discounts for you guys if you make the trip! (looking at you NY/NJ)

Ruleset is Japanese Ruleset once again. Only real change is now any of the 6 stages can be banned instead of just the counterpicks.

It means that you don't have to pay venue if you bring someone that enters one of the events. They still have to pay.
