God give me peace!!! The guys there knows nothing about Sonic (not to metion mindgames and ATs). If you go you'll only find stuff like the guys of the SBR said. Ignorance... Ignorance... I wanted to help them to that stuff but that kind of comments really can bother anyone.

You guys aren't helping.

It's only A2ZOMG who has made any attempts to break it down, and from what I know he is infamous for over-hyping characters.

At least make your departure when it's the board as a whole who is unreasonable, not just one of them.

Or when they go to a new matchup... but then they'll want us out anyway.

I'm gonna put my info here, I don't want to discuss with A2ZOMG

Game and Watch outprioritizes Sonic (surprise surprise), has more range, but also more punishable moves. Missing a move is being punished. You have to use your moves very carefully and lagless. Now GaW has no aerial that auto-cancels, so if he comes trough air, shield. If he does SHAD, turnaround grab. GaW really can't camp Sonic, just ledgecamping with N-air is totally gay. I don't know what GaW would do to camp, but I'm pretty sure it's punishable. When he B-airs, shield, punish landing lag. Kill moves all have some lag for GaW, so those can be punished too, however they don't just throw them out... His Smashes are 2 strooong.
Sonic doesn't approach with Spindash, it's just plain ********. We'll wait for misteaks, cause your defence is far too good to just F-air or B-air onto or some other totally Sonic approach. One approach could be ASC, because I'm quite unsure what GaW does against it (45 degree angle). You can cancel it for a grab.

On some tips on how to beat Sonic, read Tenki's thread "how to beat meatknight"

That thread is just how to kill really predictable Sonic moves/tendencies lol.

for the record, GAW can do high aerials so that he can avoid having landing lag.

Ledgedrop N-air > up-B regrab is hard to punish.

N-air > ASC

... I'd just drop a spring O_o
But yea, you can't punish a ledgecamping GaW, it's totally gay.
Kay, it was just my input and seeing what Gaymenfap can do, since I have no real expierence.

doesn't GAW's N-air and/or up-B kill falling springs?

Anyway, I was wondering if, in the situation where GAW is N-air ledgecamping, if it were plausible to do something like a...

[set up grounded spring > retreating D-air] > [SH onto the spring] > (float off stage and/or D-air under GAW) > [double jump/HA/side-B] > [aerial]

... lol.

Would it not just be easier to find the pattern in the ledgecamp and just drop-off Bair? Correct me if I am wrong Tenki but doesn't that take too long to set up and by that time G&W can do SOMETHING (too lazy to be creative here here) to counter all that junk?

If the invincibility frames go through Bair, you can always jump/Spring jump -> Uair.

Because AFAIK Dair won't come out fast enough to block Uair (I also think it is not suggested to ledgedrop Dair with him anyway, though I can't say for sure), and Nair can only go so low before it won't cover that blindspot GDubs has down there with the Dair.

Of course there's a ton of time used in setting it up.

You can't drop off and aerial because N-air is horridly disjointed above (so you can't just B-air drop the N-air), and the time it takes for you to drop into range of its dead time, the GAW can up-B back onto the ledge (and have fun breaking an up-B). He's really close to the stage when he ledgedrops N-air so there isn't enough air/fallspeed to get around that normally.

meh, maybe you can instant edgehog the up-B. I haven't played a GAW in months so I've been avoiding giving input for this matchup.

I've been using a helluva lot of DTilt into my game recently.

It's so good/funny/ironic, it's like I almost spam (the good kind) this move in fights.
