Anyways, I've got a few ideas for taunts (if the controller for Brawl is the same as a cube controller):
Hold B: Plays on the Harp of Ages, vanishes into thin air (kinda like when Y. Link takes the Master Sword off the pedestal).
Hold Y: Spins around wildly with his sword (remember the final credits

You know Ralph..does remind me of Raphael from Soulc Calibiar II, he is a fencer as well. I suppose he would have that finesse with him no?

Pretty much.
I once tried recreating Ralph on a friend's SC3, with Soul of Raphael, but he did not look right at all (no cape and pointy hat XD).

I have an idea for Ralph's super. He could call Nayru (the Oracle of Ages) and she could stop time. Then Ralph could go around and stab, slash, etc etc every character (or one character, doesn't matter to me) on the field.

Nothing wrong with a long first post... Was there not enough room or is it that you just prefer as little conjestion as possible? I would suggest that the moveset be included on the first post as it might be missed otherwise.
As far as the idea itself (and I may have stated this before), I'm somewhat split on it. While I would love the Oracles series of LoZ to get some representation (and who better to do that than Ralph?), I also worry about the series itself being be overrepresented as there are many other franchises that I would like to be featured, namely the retro NES ones. D*** good choice otherwise...

I though I already posted here but I don't see it. Anyway, I really like Ralph. OoA was my first Zelda game (yeah, even before OoT) and I remember how cool Ralph was back there. You didn't see him very much, but when he came up I always got shivers. How I loved his tune...
Seeing him in Brawl would be nice yes. He is after Vaati (imo) the best choice for a new Zelda character. But I don't know, I don't think he'll make it in though due to the lack of popularity.

Cool idea but I fear that he's just not significant enough to the series compared to other choices. Plus the game he's in was developed by Capcom.

I checked up on that, mkmelee. Yup, Capcom owns the rights to the game, but the characters themselves are owned by Nintendo (kinda like Golden Sun). I guess this is also some good news for Vaati people.
Anways, after watching the new trailer again, its hard not to notice similarities between Metaknight and Ralph. Perhaps if Metaknight is popular enough, Ralph could be a good clone. By 'clone', I mean sharing some basic attributes, combos, gliding (see trailer) etc, but having a different moveset.

I can't really see Ralph as a MK clone, save for his fencing moves/combos.
But yeah, Ralph is one of the top three additional Zelda candidates on my list as he's pretty much the only rival Link's had in the series - that's always a plus. Also, the Oracle series is one of my favorite Zelda offerings, so I would love for it to see some representation in SSBB. Seedshooter is uber pwnage. Use the gun and it'll shoot a random seed. You should be able to angle your shoot too. Yay!
But, I think Ralph is not gonna make it (however I still want him to). We have Tingle, Vaati and Midna now. Tingle and Vaati appeared in multiple games and Midna is essential in Twilight Princess. There's a dark cloud of sadness above Ralph.
EDIT: I forgot Skull Kid.

Yes, I like Midna too, but heck, Link's outnumbered enough as it is. *sigh* Ralph'll get what he deserves oneday (I wanna see that gun used again).

He's one of my favorite characters and it's always been a small hope for me to see him in Brawl, but it's so unlikely that I try not to get my hopes up.
Needless to say, it'd be a pleasant surprise ^.^
