MacD... take flash, ALWAYS.

Since everyone takes it all the time now, not taking it is putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.
mmmmm, i didn't think of it that way

maybe it's just i always play against baddies so it seems like i won't need it, she's the only one i don't take flash on

Bought Orianna, should I run 21/0/9 or 9/0/21? Runes should be MPen, Scaling HP, AP/lvl, and flat AP quints? Dring -> RoA -> Rabbadon's?

but seriously, queueing up with you guys is fun because dphat is amazing, and it's cool playing good people and having you guys yell at me/teach me things

and it's cool being carried, not used to that happening

Second game ever as Orianna, it's a ditto in mid. 2-0 and 2 levels higher, get at me. She rewards proper spacing and zoning really well, but just makes me think of the other heroes where you have to try so hard, and get so far, but in the end it doesn't really matter.

I wish I was good with her. I bet she could zone anyone out of Linkin Park in the end. (see what I did there?)

3rd game in the past two days, that I've won with my team being behind by like 15 kills. I'm not used to playing OP champs like Orianna and WW, holy ****.

When you play OP as **** champs, that can win team fights on their own with good positioning and when farm on them actually matters, I can imagine why people delude themselves into thinking elo hell doesn't exist.

Also, Orianna ulti. Press R, win teamfights.

I should start doing lessons for people that want to get better / more competitive at this game. I'll charge in the form of cookies.

I do not know if I'm actually good or I just know how to pretend that I am :(

Explanation: Apart from jungling I enjoy playing pretty much every role, and I know in general what all my teammates need to be doing for the team to work. From watching lots of streams I've been learning ways to actually make plays rather than just hope the other team will overextend or screw up somewhere stupid. I tend to win my lane, my CS'ing needs work but it's improved a lot (and I play champs that focus on zoning and dominating the other guy so even though my farm's not the best my opponent's is almost always worse), and I don't tunnel vision in teamfights like I used to. Overall I've gotten a lot better and I've also become pretty good at reading gameflow and seeing what the other team wants to do in advance (even if it's just predicting the horrible thing that's about to happen to me lol).

I don't win very much though. Suggestions?

^ROFLMAO. Get... called... out!

Wobbles, if you have reached that point of understanding, all you really need is to find a method to get your team to follow you. Some need to be typed to, others need to have pings spammed. It varies by group. Like, you literally need to spoonfeed people all the info and moves.

I still think that if you are carrying solo queue, it's easiest to do from Middle, b/c you can support both lanes and secure dragons/barons. Top you may ****, but you are isolated.

I found that tops role is to wreck the lane so badly that the team begins flaming whomever you were up against, thus demoralizing the team and making them think they lost already.

This. I remember that Sion was my #1 ticket to 1100 elo from 850 because the enemy team would just be demoralized after I get a triple kill and they would surrender when I was 8-0 after the first teamfight.

This. For the longest time games would end immediately after I got a quadra kill as Akali.

I've sort of been doing that with Cass. First blood the enemy mid, kill the jungler and take his blue when he comes to cover, get 3 levels and 50 CS ahead, and then slowly the game falls out of my grasp once my team gets involved lol.

But as long as I can keep zoning out Vladimir and ****** him, then almost double killing him and LeeSin when the blind ******* comes to gank? I will keep playing her.

personally i had a lot of success playing bot lane and just free farming bot lane for the first 15-20 minutes then coming out with a BT/IE and just dominating from mid to late game at that point
climbed most of the way from 1350 to 1520 like this

That just means that although you are messing with the enemy team enough, you are not taking control of your own team. If you are three levels ahead and the rest of your team is close to their laners, get them to start forcing teamfights and taking objectives. Place offensive wards and pick off opponents, etc.

TBH in solo queue more often than not the team that gets organized first takes the lead and often wins.

Being able to recognize if you have a strong level 1 team fight helps a lot in that sense too (and actually invading + first blood).
