But yes, support and jungle players are always needed, b/c everyone fancies themselves a carry player. Sad part is if you play either of these roles and your teammates get owned in more than one lane, you can't turn the tides if the opponents are competent.

i genuinely am bad at jungling, and am mediocre at support. i've tried them both a LOT but find much more success by playing carries. some people are just like that.

but yea, soraka is bonkers, the items I said are **** on her, with getting a really fast deathcap frequently making a lot of sense instead of rylais. She's also one of the best blue buff users in the game these days.

if anyone ever plays her again they should just build abyssal/deathcap, and initiate battles by spamming starcall lol, that might actually be good

This is what I've been doing as Ashe in all my games lately.
Ignore entire team for most of game, farm farm farm, emerge with insane CS, dat arrow, win game.

It's actually much easier to help your baddies with Alistar than other supports. Displace and interrupt enemies, feed them kills, zone the enemies out, initiate teamfights, etc. He does it great.

Oh, I know. I'm not a bad support at all, but it's all early game that people **** up in. I got my lane 6 kills in 8 minutes in one game but lost by ad teemo going rod of ages first item and feeding jax x_x

I'm at a LoL tournament atm.

Lost second round to an entire team of like 1300-1400 solo queuers
Not that they were bad or we should have won, we just didn't expect them to be good.

Galio, Veigar (***** us ), Janna, Caitlyn and Warwick against
Taric, Vayne, Amumu, Zilean and Brand
Honestly, we felt our team comp wasn't capable of killing their carries. Double AP solos doesn't seem viable anymore, tanky dps solo standard. We started off really bad early and while we brought it back, late game farmed cait with galio, janna and veigar with their uber **** zoning skills is insane. May have been able to pull off a victory if we had like Olaf/Noct for our jungler.

Won other matches (Nasus, Morgana, Fiddlesticks, Taric, Caitlyn and Janna, Caitlyn, Amumu, Annie and Warwick).

Right now.... Caitlyn is the first pick ranged carry of choice. Lots of Morde and Akali bans. Janna is the first pick support. AP carries, junglers and top are varying but right now Caitlyn + Janna has been in every game.

You realize how bad some of the "top" teams are?

Dreamhack was lost to an absolutely horrible Irelia. Half the teams in Gamescon were slightly above mediocre. Half the EU teams were trash. I watched TSM lose a game they had no right to lose because they refused to farm for some reason.

Just because it happens in a tournament doesn't mean a whole lot. At the end of the day, one team won, and they won by not using the horrible double ap strat.

Just played loser's semi against the same team we had first round, was quite the slaughter.

Morgana, MF, Sona, Amumu Warwick v Teemo, Soraka, Nocturne, Swain and Cho'Gath.
Our MF got a penta kill ^_^

Loser's final is about to start, first best of three for us.
This is against the team we lost in winners, we're probably gonna ban Galio and Veigar.

i see having double ap as a good strat if u plan on winning midgame really hard and getting every dragon and first towers. just because all of your games go to 50 minutes cause your whole team needs to farm their atmogs doesnt mean a strategy is bad.

"double ap" isnt "countered" so much as: most ap champions have weak lanes or people who can outsustain them.

and if you arent winning your lane, you cant get that godlike midgame where your solo casters kill everyone and your bot lane just tries not to die.

just because a lot of ap champs lose top lane doesnt mean double ap is bad. jazriel u are stupid as *** no offense.. i will just go rumble and **** you 2ez. or morde or cho or singed or jax. i could probably go ap rammus and beat u top buuuuut whatever

Good news; seems I'm a lot better with mages than I used to think, although since Brand, Cass and Swain are all really strong ATM I dunno if it's me or they're just stupid easy. Can still play Singed and Urgot and I'm okay with physical carries, and it's really hard to screw up Taric so I play him too.

I guess it's time to try and see if I can climb this dumb ladder.

(Also, seems like a lot of people keep wanting me to join their 5s team for season 2. I don't know why since I haven't played with most of them in ages)

I would have love to seen you make it to actually play the "top" teams but you lost to Little Oven Geeks in WCG Canada..
