Waaaay ahead of you on this. I'm callin it now. Soraka's getting a hotfix nerf. She's outrageous right now. I've been doing something along the lines of Rylai's > Abyssal. One game I was against a Veigar so I built a Leviathan.. ..

I got 20 stacks <.<

I really don't feel like she's going to be nerfed. I mean she is balls at her old job of sustain now so of course they needed to make starcall threatening to actually give anyone a reason to choose her.

Currently soraka's a bully in lane who should transition more to a supporter by mid-late game.

I think the biggest problem with soraka right now is that people aren't used to her new damage output. Give it a week or so and see how you feel then.

also new soraka is pretty damn broke. she's not beasting because she's new. she's beasting because she is now a carry. a carry that can support herself.

so I played mobile Boots + 5 Ring annie and went something around 2/0/16 (jax kept stealing my kills)

this mordekaiser shut me down mid lane though cuz that ***** takes no damage so I was like ****ing it I'm roaming and by the time I bought an actual item I had enough to buy both a deathcap and Will of the ancients

I have been kicking *** today with Boots and trip dorans.

Gives you so much early harassing power.

I've been doing some disgusting things today with teleport>full damage combo.

2 champions attacking a turret dying within seconds :D

It's a lot better to just take Flash/Ignite with brand than to take teleport. Lets you burst really really really hard and can often get you kills when someone tries to gank you.

Also, DR is great on him, but I also like opening boots and rushing a cata, gives you a lot of lane sustain. Eventually you will just learn to buy based on what champs the other team is using. For example if I'm playing a karthus mid I am going to open with boots to easily avoid his bomb thing(q I think) and get some easy harass.

in general in terms of carries i take ignite on AP and exhaust on AD

there are some exceptions, like pantheon, but that's the general rule i follow

Just recently switched everything to always be smart cast just to get a feel for it. Definitely feels awkward and I tend to miss shots aiming straight left (I heard that it aims slightly above the mouse in that direction?)

I like it though, it seems to remove that issue where they JUST get out of range because you had to click twice.

is smartcasting really that important? i've always wondered if its worth the time to recondition myself if its not going to elevate me at all, or that it'll only help in one specific circumstance in one of 50 games or something

if you play someone like cass or something its mandatory, so i don't so i won't

Ignite never seems to do sweet **** all when I use it.

that first match is just proof that some teams CANNOT be carried. If anyone wants to see what I did, I have the matches saved in .lrf format. I could send them via AIM file transfer

but yea, soraka is bonkers, the items I said are **** on her, with getting a really fast deathcap frequently making a lot of sense instead of rylais. She's also one of the best blue buff users in the game these days.

Me on Soraka and Turaz on Warwick 2v5'd a team yesterday in ranked. It was hilarious. They tried to focus me down but I had Rylais/Deathcap/Abbysal/Hourglass and just kited while Turaz ate them. Hungering Strike did a 4th of their HP by the time all the Mres debuffs got on them.

I think it's useful for a lot of Skillshots, mainly Q's (Lee Sin, Kennen, Jarvan, Ezreal). It's probably slightly faster response time wise on average. But overall insignificant as long as you can just plan ahead (ie go to move past minions, hit q, aim, soon as you pass minions Q again).

I just switched to all smartcasting two days ago, other than the aim adjustment it honestly wasn't to difficult of a change on champions I'm already comfortable with. However for stuff like Anivia's Wall or Karthus Wall I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like smart cast on those since it would be hard to judge how the walls will angle and block off.

TBH you don't need supports or CVs at low levels. Just pick some strong solo, go mid, kill everything, win. Hell, sometimes back at lower levels when I solod I would take CV for my team b/c they wouldn't, and they don't ward. You can save a lot of peeps with good CVs. Makes it easier for you to carry.

I remember even having to take smite on a lane Blitz b/c our jungler "didn't need smite to jungle" and I secured us 2 dragons and a baron from getting stolen.

You have to sit in a bush without moving for a LONG time, and I think it may only happen once. I did it in a custom while waiting for blue to spawn to try to jungle him, haha. Lemme see if I can find a video.
