I don't buy solo lane soraka.
I played against it in ranked as Annie. (yeah, only one game, but I imagine the following happening every game) It was hard- she won the lane in cs, but had to push it really hard in order to harass me = get ganked over and over.
I imagine if she played it right, she would NOT harass with starcall, and instead only use silence and her heal, in which case I would have won in cs, and soraka would not be at risk for getting ganked.
Later on, our 2 ap carry comp was able to burst down an enemy carry with more damage than soraka could heal off with astal blessing. Not to mention Soraka can't use starcall in teamfights. So basically, their tradeoff for having Soraka with a monster ult heal was at the cost of using up a solo lane for it.

I think solo lane soraka should build hella tanky and just truck people with starcall. Somethink like Rylai's, Abyssal, Hourglass for core.

im happy solo soraka does not **** my solo chars like chogath
main problems are starcall (harass) pushes lane too much making her easily gankable
bot lane soraka comps though seem really stupid and ******** amounts of armor granted is dumb

it is but it isnt viable as ad carry support bot lane, but with the recent switch o supports it might be better
Yeah thats not fun. BUT. have you tried laning vs blitz Alistar in a 1v2 situation? god it is beyond horrible. you actually just afk behind your turret and wait for the jungler to come.
damn, nerfed nidalee is still good, just need to farm RoA
also, they're testing a buff on her atm. applying spell vamp to her catform and giving her more mr/armor. only problem is that the spell vamp is working for traps and spear, so it's still buggy.

Yeah it would bring people below 0.
New meta is pretty drasticly different, I'm quite shocked at how much more fun I'm having playing the game right now.
1500-1600 solo queue is a MESS though. I can't believe how many people I played wit yesterday with barely any ranked games who were terrible and somehow being queued with people 200 elo below you trying to get gold.

Yeah, I'm done with solo til a month after next season starts. Anything would be more fun than all heals all the time.
Btw, (ap) jungle shaco is the best.

i dont know where support is at right now. like soraka can just get a lot of assists and then get deathcap and then just **** a whole team... with getting no cs. maybe having support champions that share bot lane farm? like tree soraka cow. i dont see sona being that useful anymore

I play support Alistar, Blitz, Cho, etc. You can be offensive oriented support based around CC and messing up their carries now that perma sustain is gone. Just need to let them get most of the farm, as usual. If you want a mix of both, Taric is still good choice (but I think he's boring as hell to play).
But yes, support and jungle players are always needed, b/c everyone fancies themselves a carry player. Sad part is if you play either of these roles and your teammates get owned in more than one lane, you can't turn the tides if the opponents are competent.

Man i hate those games that you decide hey i want to play a champ that solos. i picked veigar. laned vs kennen. 4-0 in lane had 400 AP with only deathcap at lvl 11. was doing amazingly right? bottom lane is 1-16 top lane is 2-5 jungler is 0-0-7 (a part of every single kill and never dying) so the jungler and I are doing great while everyone else is just failing completely. i had farmed enough AP that game in order to not build more than 2 AP items. when we had to surrender i was at 700 AP, had Sorc Shoes, Archangels, Deathcap, Banshees, Frozen Heart. i could almost 1v5 them but the jungler WW was focused down first which prevented any of the combined 3-28 rest of my team from understanding what an attack was. and we had to surrender because of a team fight where i was only able to kill

and couldn't kill off the tryndamere because of his ult before he killed me. and the rest of my team died to tryn AFTER he used his ult to survive with 400 hp after the heal. and he took 3 inhibs.
i hate these games. you literally do everything right and an astounding 3 players on your team seem to be unable to function.
back to playign support i guess.

Waaaay ahead of you on this. I'm callin it now. Soraka's getting a hotfix nerf. She's outrageous right now. I've been doing something along the lines of Rylai's > Abyssal. One game I was against a Veigar so I built a Leviathan.. ..

that first match is just proof that some teams CANNOT be carried. If anyone wants to see what I did, I have the matches saved in .lrf format. I could send them via AIM file transfer

My friend who I have been playing with on a team uses GP.
When he raises morale turrets go down SO fast.
Our team is pretty devastating in team fights too.
Amumu, Morgana, Gangplank, Brand and Caitlin all have amazing ult synergy.
Amumu and Morgana go in 1st and ult, the ones that manage to get out are slowed by GP's one as they run away, Caitlin picks off the one that needs to die 1st, then Brand comes in and cleans up the leftovers.
Of course if they are using banshees veil it makes life a bit more difficult.
