Its my first smash exclusive tournament and first competitive tournament since 2009. What should I bring that is Smash Bros Specific / Tournament specific that will make my life easier.

A controller. Make sure it is wired since some tournies have wireless controllers banned. At large events they can even desync mid match which could cost you matches.
