I asked about this in the social thread the other day, so here it is!

Since we all know that jigglypuff is not a common character to face and she has limited options, we need to focus on the things she is 'good' at, such as playing gay playing patiently:). This thread is all about discussing how to time your opponent out and how to plank effectively (within the ledgegrab rule).

We need to talk about:
-how to camp against certain characters (for example projectile-happy toon links)
-what stages she's good on for camping/planking
-what moves are her best for camping/planking (for example down-throw because it's her longest grab)
-keeping the lead after jigglypuff took the first stock.

If there are any subjects related to her campin/planking game that we need to discuss that didn't got mentioned above, please tell so.

I'll update this thread consistently and I will add videos/usefull threads if you guys have any videos/threads that might help to demonstrate what you're saying.

The most important thing to remind:

Don't get a guilty conscience.

STAGES

Rainbow Cruise
- On Rainbow Cruise plank on the right side of the ship and wait for it to drop down. Then fight your opponent during the platform stage and then when it gets to the sidescrolling air plank until your back to the ship where you can plank on the ledge again.

Castle Siege

Pokemon Stadium 1

Frigate Orpheon
-You can scrooge underneath the stage and the moving platforms, help you to get away from your opponent.Pretty universal but once you're hit, spam rising pound in air combined with your 5 jumps and you could stay in air for like 20 seconds with a low chance of getting hit since you're so high away from them.

Current subject:
Let's start with the stages that are her best to camp/plank on and the stages you need to avoid if you're planning to time your opponent out/to plank your opponent.

I like castle siege on the second level of it.
cause it's big in there. So I just air camp from awning to awning.
If I'm going here I'm using jiggly.

Updated.

I like frigate alot because you can scrooge underneath the stage and the moving platforms, help you to get away from your opponent. Don't plank against MK on the ledge, it doesn't work.

Air plank him instead and run like a little *****. When he gets frustrated drill rest him.

Pound is great at a lot of things, but not at planking. You are better off trying ledge canceled sing lol.

You don't aircamp when not in range when you are at the ledge. Better to just jump down and grab it again.

Where in my post did you see something about ''being at the ledge'' lol? I was talking about being in air when you're hit. Go look in the op bowyer vs ankoku.

This thread is named planklysomething so of course it has to have something to do with the ledge.
Aircamping with pound is totally legit when you are so high you can react to your opponents move, but then you might have trouble landing.

Paper Fans should be legalised in smash tournaments. Only then Jigglypuff would be back to her former glory.
