Who is Master Kohga?
The strong, the burly, the one and only Master Kohga is the leader of the Yiga Clan, a clan who appear in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are sworn to Calamity Ganon, and seek to kill Link, while also are very fond of bananas. Link encounters Master Kohga in the Yiga Clan hideout, where Link uses underhand tactics to defeat Kohga, who he had rudely awakened.
Why?
The problem with adding a new Legend of Zelda representative is that the three most consistent characters are all already included, and the extra characters usually only appear in a single game. So, in lieu of adding a villain from a past game (e.g. Midna), add a character from the most recent game that launched with the Switch and could incorporate a new feature of the lore: the Yiga Clan. Master Kohga would be a lighthearted inclusion and fit in well with the theme of the Smash Bros. franchise.
Moveset?
Master Kohga's moveset can be derived with the battle with Link at the Yiga Clan hideout. He is able to conjure rocks and spiky metal things and launch them at his opponents. Due to the fast-paced nature of the battle in Smash, these would have to be reduced to a smaller, combat-ready size. Yohga could demonstrate the use of Magnesis from BOTW. His moveset could also incorporate the attacks of Yiga Footsoldiers and Blademasters, with these characters appearing in his final smash. Of course, as well, bananas are an absolute necessity.
Why?
Get out of here with that disrespect. This is the character Smash needs. I'm not having it any other way.
