This coming monthly will be the day after my birthday (October 22nd) but I'll still be there. Lou and I are teaming and I hope most of you guys can make it so I can hang out with you guys. I know Siege just happened but it wasn't that expensive and the monthly is in 3 weeks so try to hype it up guys and get people to attend. Hope to see you there!

I think having it on the 24th would be better anyways, as I don't think anything is going on that day.

So we were talking about this in the Siege thread, what do you guys think about talking to Min about taking 20% of the pot fee and put it towards a fund for another $1000 or so tournament with payouts to top 5. We can make the pot split more even this time because there was a lot going on about that before and make the new pot split something like 50/20/10 or 55/15/10 or something like that

If he can have Siege be a series, then we can work with that big time. This tourney was without ANY entry fee, so if we were to add the sponsored money with entry fees, we'd be in serious biz with that. Before doing donations, I would like to see if we could get Siege to be a tourney series.

Can't we all contribute to the pot fee in a non-tourney related way? Like make a donation fee. And have like some little meter till we reach the price? Taking from tourney's is fine but I mean "Is there No other way?"




Also, what did you all think of The Decatur 7?

So w/o any donations in 12 months we would have raised $840 with just the 20% taken out of only 1 tournament a month with 35 entrants a piece. Throw in about $60 for donations and that's 900, now we don't need all of that because we can charge a $10 pot fee and since this will be bigger we can ASSUME AT LEAST 44 people (44 just so we can have an even number + donations) so that would be $500, half the pot split already, so after about 7 months we could get on going assuming a 35 entrant average with one tournament a month with $60 donations which I honestly think we can get more donations and more than a 35 entrant average and more than one tournament a month going at WABA so maybe a 6 monthish range which would put it in about April which is a great time because of spring break and stuff, and that was also a minimum of 44 people for this tournament, which I'd think we could pull more than we had at this tournament which would be 103+ making the pot split about 1500ish to top 5.

I won't be at CB because I have a marching band competition, also if we have the monthly the weekend after TO6 then I won't be able to make that either because of another marching band competition, so I may show to TO6 just to hang out with everyone and maybe bring a brawl setup just for fun, also I'd like to play some melee with people besides P3
