Gengar is always on my team!

...But my Gengar's attacks are more theoretically good then actually

I mean when my opponent uses them they seem to work better than when I do...

Except Shadow Ball!

I really love gengar but i don't think he has a chance of making it as a PC, maybe as a pokeball where he would do night shade.. (the ****y thing togepi did in ssbm)

Nice original Idea.

BTW the person that corrected you was wrong. It's Shadow Punch. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shadow_Punch

Yeah...

I support Gengar. If he doesn't get in however I think he'd make a awesome Pokéball Pokémon.

He could use Shadow Sneak. He comes out of his ball. Laughs. Then disappears. a few moments later he pops out of the shadows and attacks a opposing player. He is like Lyn and tracks them down. He deals medium damage with alot of Knockback.

Alright, heres my Gengar moveset

Gengar
http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~simmers/gengar.gif

http://joshd1000.deviantart.com/art/Night-night-sleep-tight-evo-58098333

Speed:4.5/5
Weight:1/5
Strength: 4/5
Jump:2/5

Taunt 1: Makes a scary face and yells his name.
Taunt 2: Creates a shadowball and spins it on his finger
Taunt 3: Does a creepy little dance that has him jumping from foot to foot.

Victory Taunt A: sinks into the ground then pops up really fast in front of the screen making a scary face
Victory Taunt B: Gets a shadow ball and spins it on his finger
Victory Taunt C: Sinks about half way into the ground then pauses, waves goodbye, then sinks all the way in.

Coustumes: Dark Green, Dark Red, Dark Blue, Black, Regular (Dark Purple)
Idle: Idle animation from Battle Revolution, where he moves his hips left and right over and over again
Crouch: Gengar sinks into the ground up to the bottom of his mouth
Run: Gengar leaps forward about 4 feet every step so instead of taking alot of small steps like other fast characters, he takes fewer really big ones.
Roll: Gengar sinks into the ground, moves forward and pops up

A: Punches with left hand
AA: Swipes upward diagonally from right to left with his right hand
AAA: Does a tiny hop and kicks

A>: Gengar quickly licks forward. 5% chance of the enemy getting paralized for 2 seconds
A<: same
Av: While in crouch position, Gengar delivers a quick punch
A^: Quickly licks above him

Dash A: Gengar leaps forward with his mouth open then bites when he hits an enemy. If he doesn't hit anyone, he falls on his face.

Smash A> Shadow punch. Gengar becomes invisible but you can still hit him. He then reappears and delivers an very powerful dark energy imbued punch. Gengar starts his punch animation before he even becomes visible. So if you see Gengar, you are gonna get hit.
Smash Av Gengar sinks into the ground up to his mouth and spins around once with his tounge out, hitting on both sides.
Smash A^ Gengar holds a large shadowball over his head with both hands. Works like Mewtwos Smash A^.

Air A: Dark Pulse. Dark energy pulses from him in every direction once.
Air A>: Powerful downwards swipe with his hand
Air A<: Spins around hitting behind him with both hands
Air Av: Flips so his back points down and falls like that hitting anyone below with the spikes on his back.
Air A^: Does a front flip and hits upward with the heel of one foot

Z: Grabs the enemy.
ZA: licks them (it's stronger but slower then other grab attacks)
Z>: Makes a Ghastly come from offscreen, and ram the enemy through Gengar.
Z<: Lets the enemy go then dissapears and appears behind them, and punches.
Zv: Quickly sinks into the ground while holding on to the enemy so that they smash into the ground
Z^: Jumps up with the enemy held over his head. He then falls straight down while upside down, smashing the enemy into the ground.

B: Shadow ball. Gengar charges up a shadowball. The ball reaches maximum charge after half the time it takes Samus to fully charge her gun, moves faster that both Mewtwo's and Samus, and has only slightly less knockback than Mewtwos shadow ball, but it only does 15 damage at maximum charge.

B>: Nightshade. A dark, fast moveing, medium range, beam shoots out of Gengars eyes. When this attack hits an enemy, it spilts into six things which wrap around the person hit and deal damage relative, not equal, to their current damage but has no knockback. The beam dissapears after it does damage. This move is semi-quick to use and has good range but it doesn't do good damage until the enemy is at high percentages already. The minimum this attack can do is 5% with the maximum being 105%

Nightshade works like this. If the enemies percent is at a single digit number like 8, the attack treats that as .8 and rounds it up to the closest whole number, which in this case would be 1. It then adds 5 to that to make the attack do 6 damage. If the enemies percent is a double digit number like 64, the attack counts it as 6.4 and rounds it to 6 then adds 5 making the attack do 11 damage. If the enemies percent is a triple digit like 253, the attack counts it as 25.3, rounds to 25, then adds five, makeing the attack do a whopping 30 damage.

Bv: Hypnosis. Puts people a short distance infront of him to sleep for a time period relative to their damage. They have to be facing you and they have to be on the ground. While the enemy is asleep, a dream bubble appears a few feet above their head. This cloud bubble represents a dream of what they want the most .

e.g. Peach has a picture of Mario marrying her in her bubble, Bowser has a picture of Mario with his eyes as crosses like he is dead, and Luigi would have a picture of himself standing next to Mario except in the picture Luigi is extremely muscular and tall, while Mario is skinny and short.

B^: Dream Eater. Gengar flys in the direction you specify biting over and over again. If you hit an enemy with the bites, they recieve a small amount of damage and tiny knockback. If you use this move on a person while they're sleeping, nothing special will happen but, if you attack the dream bubble above the persons head while they are sleeping, they take about 20 damage and you heal yourself about 10 damage but, they will recieve no knockback and will wake up.

FS: Curse. A nail appears by Gengar and stabs him. This damages Gengar 50% but also puts a curse on everyone on the screen that damages them 5% every second and makes them flinch every time they get damaged by the curse until they die.

What do you think

No they aren't, Gengar has an extremely small chance but there is still the possibility, unlike Gardevoir, who you still seem to want as playable.

It hasn't shown up on the Dojo yet, which means the Poke Ball incident is unofficial. There's still a possibility that Gardevoir might be a fighter.

Gengar would be ****ing awesome.

Takes me back to my glory day of Pokemon Red and my classic party of Gemgar, Cubone, Mew, Charizard, Blastiose and Zapdos.

Pokeball Gengar at the very least. Maybe Mewtwo's Final Smash could swamp the other players with the more 'evil' of Pokemon like Pits only more Unique, Pokemon like Gengar, Dakurai, Ekans, Nidoking etc.

I don't know if this was mentioned but wasn't Gengar the first Pokemon you saw when you started up Pokemon red/blue. Maybe that boosts his chances. (yeah, right)

Even though Gengar is the most kickass Poke'mon made, I agree w/Wilderman: There are enough Poke'mon in the game already. It kind of stifles the variety a bit, IMO. And Jaseman's idea for Dream Eater (best Poke move ever) is exactly what I was thinking. 50% would be a bit much, IMO, but besides that, it'd be a pretty kickass move to see in the game...
Are you kidding, the Pokemon Games have been like the best selling games there is, and there bound to be more, you have to look at as a percentage then the total number of them.
