Genesis 6’s approach towards the 2.0.0 update

Genesis 6 is coming soon, as well as the 2.0.0 patch with balance changes and possibly Piranha Plant. This update would obviously affect character matchups and Genesis 6 would be affected. So what the team did to avoid this was prepare the setups to be completely offline, so the game will not update.
We’re working on a big post with some useful stuff for beginners, so for now, what are your thoughts?

That's a wonderful idea so as not to mess with the balance everyone has gotten used to thus far. Looking forward to that post!
