Genesis 3 Announced

After what has been 4 years, the legendary Genesis tournament series is back. Genesis' return was revealed last evening on the popular "Get Smashed at the Foundry" weekly tournament stream on ShowdownSmash.

Not much is known about Genesis 3 yet, but it has been confirmed that it will be a major international tournament in Northern California, just like its predecessors. The tournament will take place during January 2016, as opposed to the summer, when Genesis 1 and 2 were held. The tournament will host events for Melee and Smash Wii U, and it will also hold the finals for season four of The Melee Games.
