Yes, Andrew was introduced in StarFox 64 along with Pigma Dengar (I'm not quite sure of that one.) They disappeared in Adventures until Assault, when they left the team for Panther.

I meant that the wolf in Assult and 64 had different personalities.
they are the same person

So Xiangfeng, you have not addressed the fact that Andrew was introduced in Starfox 64, not Assault or Adventures?
I had lylatwars not Starfox 64 and that was when I was 5 so I don't remember it well anywho I still think he's undeserving Wolf is more deserving as he is the leader

Wolf E.'s got it right. Starwolf was shortened in Assault after Pigma and Andrew went solo, and were replaced only by Panther.

As for Wolf being a better addition, I disagree. Everyone expects the important characters to get in. What about the more minor ones? And I've said it before, it will be difficult to avoid making him a Fox clone.

not really the only similar moves I can see are the shine and the laser would be a machine gun but still similar

Real Star Fox fans will agree that the only real Star Fox games are for SNES and N64 (and hopefully the new DS version). Any characters from the crappy Game Cube sequels will hopefully be left out and forgotten.
Gamecube sequels? What are you talking about? :dizzy: Those aren't Starfox games, those are Starsux games.

OK that was probably the lamest joke I've ever posted here. Sorry.

Excluding Krystal from that list, of course, and I semi-agree with you. Adventures was good...nothing better. And I have given up on Assault and I haven't even beaten it yet (goes back to Hastings tonight.)

Nomis: Again, Assault wasn't half bad.

Xiang: Well, what kind of techniques would you give Wolf then?
Assault sucked, everything about it was worse(except the multiplayer was better, but it still sucked) arwing missions, on-foot missions were terrible, and landmaster tank levels were worse.

Only thing I hate in Assault is that it's always the same boring sh*t.
You play it once, maybe twice, and never again.

Also, isn't Wolf stronger and heavier than Fox? If he is, then it wouldn't be so hard to make them different.

I have both Starfox 64 and Dino Planet...Dino was too easy, you always have good ole Slippy to tell you to shoot a cannonball at some big dino and 64 was too short...but...
Erm...I thought this was about Scales...
Anyways. Scales is huge. It's like facing Mario's taunt, except it's moving, not red, not Mario, and has more teeth. Maybe not more. But pointier. If he were put in as some kind of boss character...like say...Gigabowser...that'd be pretty cool. But not as a regular.

Getting back on track, I don't want General Scales to be in it, I forgot who he was when I saw this thread and I have the game. He isn't really popular either...

Did we ever see Scales in action during Dino Planet anyways? If i remember correctly, he never did anything besides toss the girl over a ship...

Other than choke the Cloudrunner Queen and use a random grunt as a shield, no not really. In fact in your final confrontation with him if you fall off the platform, he'll just run to a spot and not move at all!

There are better choices for characters in Brawl than this. I DO want to see Scales return in a future Starfox title but not as a playable fighter in this. All he has right now is his grafted on hook claw and a dagger. Nothing more.

I think General Scales would be a decent idea. Decent because it would give more Star Fox characters a chance to be part of SSB, since Star Fox barely has the possibly of many characters in it. Problem is, he would be huge, and no one would really know what exactly to give him as moves. Since that whole "final battle" with Scales left me very very disappointed.

If they should put anything new from Star Fox, it's gotta be Krystal, in her Adventures outfit no doubt. I just think it would be very different to see a staff user. Think about it, it wouldn't be half-bad. Her projectile would be the fire power, her Up+B would be the Wind launcher thing that you'd use in SFA to get to higher places.

I like your idea, Sav'ur! But-Scales wouldn't have to be that huge, they could make him somewhat like Bowser/ DK, maybe a little taller, but I'd prefer Ridley instead, though.

Ridley's a good choice but it really wouldn't make sense. However, maybe Star Wolf *team not Wolf* could be in the game. And Scales too. ARGH ANYONE OTHER THAN ANDREW, PIGMA AND SLIPPY **** IT!!!

...I apologize, but I HAD to get that off my chest. OH! Think about this: What if... ANDROSS was in the game? This is what a friend and I thought up: If they place Andross as the owner of the Master Hand and Crazy Hand (which won't happen in a million years but one must cross fingers right?) I'll have to return the game, sell my Nintendo properties and NEVER SIDE WITH NINTENDO AGAIN.

...Ehem, returning to subject, Scales for Brawl please.

I would feel that Andross wouldn't be a bad idea either. Maybe have him as the new Master and Crazy Hand matches? If Andross would be an actual playable character, they could possibly manifest Andross into a less disembodied form. If you think about it, Andross wasn't always a disembodied scientist.

Perhaps his figure would be veiled by his cape like we would see him wearing in the SNES Star Fox (on the Game Over screen), and shoot things from his hands as projectiles, and so forth. That or Andross really is disembodied and only has his head and hands to work with, but the cape sort of makes up/hides that he has no body, and he can use his hands, head, and cape for certain attacks?

I'd like to see Crystal in the game, but not Andross; I assosiate him with exciting arwing levels-that's why Adventures was disappointing- not smash... But, well he sort of floats, and air battles are in focus, so...

wolf and krystal first please. i hated when i was about to fight scales, and then you don't. it was ******** not to fight the thing you thought was the villain for the whole game. and sakuri is thinking of not having clones at all in the next game, so wolf can work

even though I like the idea of kicking the crap out of scales I say nay, if they do add another SF character, it will most lkely be krystal, they dont want too many from one game seires.
Although.....I wouldn't be mad if he was in it.

I wanted to bump this because well if Andross can have an active thread why not scales, when I posted here I hadn't played Adventures but now I have and I can honestly say that General Scales is a pansy and would make a terrible character, he can't fight a generic Sharpclaw is stronger than him.

I think General Sales is a good Idea, he seems like a good figher, he seems he would be a slow, semi-mid jumper, high power kind of a character, well at least we can ALL agree General scales> andross... tough Wolf>General scales>>>>>>>>> andrew oikonny>>>>>>>> tricky>>>> andross.... yeah tricky is a way better idea to me than andross...
