GC Backup Launcher/Imgburn Problem

Now I'm at the step where I have everything installed on my Wii and I already used the GC-Tool to replace a .dat file (I only changed one marth texture to see how it worked)

Only problem is everytime I burn the .iso to the DVD-R the back up launcher can't read it once I put it into my Wii

Every time I get an error that says "Failed to read DVD 263 Error 0x3023a00 No Disk". I've gooled and found nothing helpful. I've also reinstalled the MIOS patcher and the cIOS38 revision 14. I'm pretty lost at this point

As you can imagine this is very frustrating, I've already wasted like 5 DVDs. I have tried DVD-Rs and DVD-R+s. Help is very appreciated.

Did you check what disc drive you have? Some don't load disc backups.

actually no I didn't I've read elsewhere that you have to change the book type in imgburn but I stopped doing this method all together because I've since learned that it is impractical. I'm using Wiiflow with an SD load up now and things are going much smoother
