I don't know if many people know about this. Or if it really has any validity in terms of high level play, or even low level play. Regardless, I found this tidbit of information to be very interesting and I hope you do too. Melee is such an old and developed game. In our current Meta it seems that not a lot can be discovered about our beloved Melee. I hope that the information I'm sharing with you is new and has not been noted yet. It is not game-breaking or game-changing, rather just a fun bit of information. Without further ado here it is. Ganon's taunt actually sends his hurtbox airborne during the duration. Characters that have sliding dash attacks (Dr. Mario.) and most down-tilts can be avoided this way. Ganon's OP now right? Well, not really. This bit of information is almost useless in terms of competitive play. None the less, I thought this to be a cool bit of information. And it just goes to show that we can still discover silly and fun things about this game regardless of how old it is.

Cheers!

This happens with a lot of characters.

I had an interesting interaction in a Falco ditto. I up-smashed him, causing my hurtbox to leave the ground, but at the same time, he down-smashed, dodging my up-smash, but causing his down-smash to miss.

In essence, he dodged my up-smash with down-smash, since he becomes lower, but I dodged his down-smash, since I jumped with my up-smash.
